FEZKO THIERRY a.s. considers environmental protection to be one of the priorities. Customers from the area of automotive industry that are our business partners more and more prefer products with the most demanding ecological properties and suppliers that do not pollute environment and that are able to guarantee this in the long term. INVESTMENT IN THE YEAR 2006 – THE ABATEMENT SYSTEM At the end of 2006 after almost an annual preparation FEZKO a.s. invested in an abatement system for waste gases produced by the Schmitt laminating machine. The system is British and total investments were approximately 3 million CZK. Whereas flame lamination is a source of emissions, including effluvial ones, the investment in AS was definitely a positive contribution to air protection. Unlike in the past effluvial substances from this source have been fully eliminated in the company environment, the rate of solid pollutants discharged into air reduced 6 times. The investment was imposed by the decision of state authorities, however it was a voluntary step of FEZKO a.s. heading for the quality improvement of environment. FEZKO THIERRY a.s. would like to further continue to operate such system. Implementation of EMS – the Environmental Management System according to EN ISO 14 001 standard was completed in FEZKO a.s. in 2000 and the system was certified by the RW TÜV company (the present TÜV NORD). In 2008 FEZKO THIERRY a.s. decided on preparation of an integrated quality and environment system. Its basic document is the Quality and Environment Policy. This activity of FEZKO THIERRY a.s. is in eventuality a guarantee of environment improvement in Strakonice, improvement of ecological impacts of manufacturing processes and finished products on environment also at our customers and end users of vehicles, for whom our products are intended. FEZKO THIERRY A.S. would like to spread filtration systems also to other technologies in the production in the future. These actions have for object continuous improvement of the environment. In the terms of the new projects the company FEZKO THIERRY A.S. obtained OEKO-TEX 100 certificate for some of our products. This certificate is the most respected testament about the health safety of textile product in Europe.
